Stafford has long been a rural farm town, and what better way to celebrate its rural roots than with Farm Day? Sponsored by the Rotary Club, the annual event, held at John Julian Heritage Park on Sept. 10, featured farm animals, produce, crafters, hayrides, games, demonstrations, and fun for the whole family.
"It's a real community event, and all the money we makes goes back into the community," said Rotary Club President Ilene Whitmarsh.
Whitmarsh said three farms, 28 vendors, and about 10 exhibitors and 10 sponsors helped to make this year's Farm Day a special event.
